The body is a canvas. Nothing new. Or yes, perhaps. Millenniums painting oneself to exist.

Today, the body is getting it’s make up done in order to disappear.

But today, Kouhei Nakama goes further. To be nothing is not enough. To be something else, that is the cry of our time.

When the body merges with its environment. Since the blank canvas hiding under the Mona Lisa is the most admired in the world.

To become the work of art which one collects since it is unable to improve. To mutate. But to mutate into a work of art.
